The works of Sarah Dillon and Sam Yamauchi will be featured July 5th through 27th at Art At The Cave, with an opening reception on First Friday, July 5th from 6-9pm. Sarah Dillon’s exhibit, Where We Are encourages self-reflection in effort to define or question truth. Place, as a multi-faceted sensibility functions as a catalyst for creativity in Sarah’s newest series that takes on entitlement, social analysis, politics and history. Sam Yamauchi offers a story in 10 paintings with her exhibit, From Japanese Hair to Sword Ferns. She is inspired by color and describes her process as “part contemplation and intention, part intuition and imagination and a whole lot of playing around until she knows it’s right.”
